High-concentration brine was conventionally considered "antifreeze." HybridICE enables ice-making using brine with a high concentration of 23.5%. With this next-generation ice-making technology, by adjusting the concentration of the raw water used, it becomes possible to produce ice suited to various applications from freezing to refrigeration temperatures.
